To support our Marketing Team we are looking for a 

Recruitment Manager (Degree Programs)
(m/f/x, 40 hrs./week, based in Berlin)

The recruitment manager plays a key role at ESMT by identifying talented individuals who would make ideal ESMT students and supporting them to apply for one of our degree programs.

As Recruitment Manager, you will

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the ESMT Berlin degree program portfolio, value proposition, and target audience segments.
• Engage high-potential prospects in a consultative manner and actively support them in their decision to submit competitive applications to ESMT.
• Work closely with admissions, marketing, and program teams to convert qualified leads into applications.
• Design and execute sophisticated candidate engagement strategies across the early stages of the recruitment funnel.
• Establish strong relationships with promising applicants by proactively reaching out through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Organize on-campus recruitment events and represent ESMT at webinars, fairs, and external engagements (online and in person) as a credible ambassador of the school.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize funnel performance using data-driven insights to improve conversion at the early application stage.
• Leverage CRM systems and multiple data sources to identify high-value segments, prioritize outreach, and maximize recruitment impact.
• Track progress rigorously against targets and deadlines, manage pipeline health, and proactively adjust tactics to ensure consistent delivery of results.
• Contribute market intelligence and competitor insights to inform recruitment strategy and positioning.

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Have experience in student recruitment/admissions in a business school environment or experience in consultative, service-based sales.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills across all media and can confidently engage senior, international, and diverse audiences.
• Have the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Work well under pressure, demonstrate ownership, and autonomously deliver against ambitious targets.
• Possess strong analytical capabilities and experience using CRM systems and data to drive decision-making and performance.
• Are highly comfortable working with large datasets, able to identify the most relevant signals, and translate insights into clear, actionable priorities.
• Demonstrate a performance-driven mindset with strong motivation to meet and exceed monthly and annual targets.
• Show persistence, resilience, and a proactive approach to pipeline development, follow-up, and conversion.
• Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and a strong sense of accountability for outcomes.
• Are fluent (verbal and written) in English; German skills are an advantage.
• Are careful, precise, and reliable when handling sensitive data.
