who is passionate about creating an outstanding learning experience for students from around the world.

How you'll make a difference

As Program Manager – Global Online MBA, you will play a central role in delivering a high-quality, engaging, and seamless student experience throughout the entire MBA journey.

Working closely with faculty, colleagues, and students, you will help shape how our fully online MBA is experienced — from the first interaction before the program starts all the way through to graduation.

Our students represent more than 50 nationalities and bring an average of 12 years of professional experience, creating an exceptionally diverse and dynamic learning community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with faculty, administrative staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver a world-class fully online MBA program.
  • Ensuring that students are actively engaged with both the program and the broader ESMT community. This includes developing and overseeing the quality management, communication, and engagement strategy.
  • Supporting the students’ journey from before the start of the program through to graduation.
  • Acting as students’ first point of contact, taking responsibility for reporting, escalating, and responding to issues or concerns.
  • Working closely with elected class representatives to listen and respond to student feedback and issues.
  • Planning and coordinating online events and on-campus experiences with program office colleagues and, where appropriate, in partnership with students.
  • Conducting evaluation surveys and using insights to improve the program, courses, and processes.
  • Managing program operations, including preparing documentation, purchasing learning materials, uploading content to the learning management system, and managing budgets, contracts, reporting, billing, grading processes, and student evaluations.

What makes you a great fit

You are a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and making things happen. You are passionate about education and motivated by creating an excellent experience for students.

You also bring:

  • Driven to ensure that our students have an excellent learning experience. Prior experience in online education would therefore be an advantage.
  • An excellent team player with a hands-on attitude, a good sense of humour, and the ability to keep calm under pressure while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering high-quality services, processes, and outcomes. Experience managing budgets would be an advantage.
  • Able to listen well and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences with sensitivity, tact, and empathy.
  • Interested in learning about and applying educational technologies, online learning platforms (Canvas, AcademyFive), and CRM tools such as Salesforce; prior experience of all is an advantage
  • Able to interpret, evaluate, and apply policy and procedural requirements.
  • Fluent in English, the business language of the school. German language skills would be an advantage.

  • Your CV (including relevant certificates and references)
  • Your salary expectations and earliest possible start date
  • A cover note answering the following question in 250–300 wordsTell us about a specific time when you found yourself in a situation when multiple things needed your attention at once, and everyone asking for help believed their issue was the most important. What was competing for your attention, how did you decide what to do first, and, upon reflection, would you make the same decision again?
We’re interested in the specifics of what happened and how you thought about the situation. The example itself does not need to be impressive — we’re interested in understanding your approach to prioritisation, decision-making, and reflection.
