Project Coordinator
(m/f/x, full-time, to start in July 2022)

Program planning is a centralized function, critical to the efficient running of ESMT. Project coordinators work closely with faculty and the program teams to ensure the school’s resources (faculty, rooms) are used to best effect.

Your responsibilities are to

  • Manage the planning process and organize regular planning review rounds with stakeholders
  • Advise program teams on the feasibility of new programs and/or revisions to existing programs; suggest alternatives
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the full life cycle of program scheduling: understand business needs; develop the initial draft; confirm resource availability (faculty, rooms) and adjust as necessary; track changes and schedule status
  • Ensure records are kept up to date and internal reports are produced by managing all data related to teaching assignments and producing planning reports for Dean of Faculty

Potential for role expansion: support the Director, Program Services and Operations with data management projects that improve the technological infrastructure; build expertise in tools that handle program data (e.g., Salesforce); lead on new projects such as the introduction of scheduling software, and a school-wide calendar.

You are qualified for this position, because you have/are

  • 2+ years’ experience in resource planning processes and/or managing education programs
  • Analytical and enjoy solving puzzles, building models, and optimising processes and procedures
  • Comfortable working with complexity
  • Balance big picture thinking with detail orientation
  • Proven process and project management skills including on-time delivery under pressure, ability to influence stakeholders, and able to manage multiple work streams in parallel
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
