Student Assistant - FUTURE Institute for Sustainable Transformation
(m/f/x, part-time, 20 hours/week, to start as soon as possible, 1-year contract)
You will contribute to our success in a collegial work environment by delivering on development aspects of the FUTURE Institute in four main areas: development and fundraising support, client relationship and database management, event organization and communication.
Your main tasks will be:
- Identifying new prospects in sustainable business for sustainability executive education and upskilling programs, research projects, and collaboration initiatives (e.g., the Sustainable Business Roundtable).
- Organizing and preparing prospect meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Developing Salesforce, including updating records, campaigns, and plans.
- Coordinating events (e.g., Sustainable Business Roundtables).
- Providing support in communication with clients and prospects through our website, social media channels, as well as publications (e.g., newsletters, magazines).
You are qualified because you:
- Have a strong passion for sustainable business.
- Demonstrate a strong interest and initial experience in business development.
- Are self-directed and proactive, as you will be part of an agile team operating both remotely and from the ESMT campus.
- Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication, with fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
- Bring experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and a high level of computer literacy, especially in MS-Office (with a particular enjoyment for slides preparation)
- Excel as an excellent team player, combining a hands-on approach with the ability to work independently towards deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
